How to care for your new tattoo
The First 1–6 Days: Saniderm Phase
Keep your bandage on for up to 5–6 days. Don't panic over the "ink sack", and no alcohol for 24–48 hours. Remove early if leaking or allergic.
Bandage Removal
Remove in a warm shower to melt the adhesive. Pull the bandage down and out parallel to your skin, do not rip it up. Clean residue with oil and soap.
Healing Phase
Wash gently 1–2 times a day. Pat dry and moisturize with unscented lotion 2–3 times daily. Do NOT pick or scratch. Wear loose clothing.
Avoid (2–4 Weeks)
No baths, pools, or ocean water. Avoid direct sunlight, heavy sweating (for 3-5 days), and alcohol-based products on the skin.
Long-term Care & Touch-ups
Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen and keep moisturized. Consult a doctor for infections. Touch-ups start at 500–1,000 THB.
